Jordy-Lee Jones – Instagrammer

Life & Style Weekend - - BUSINESS -

Age: 22

How did your Instagram account become so popular?

I posted a photo of Winters first nursery which was then reposted on the Kardashian Kids page which had well over one million followers. Within a day we had gained almost 5000 followers. We then got reposted another four times on their account and also got reposted on other large Instagram accounts. From then it grew quite quickly. What’s involved with being an Instagrammer?

Most companies send me a range of their products. I then try them out or style them for a certain amount of photos posted on my account. We then negotiate a price and sign contracts. After I have been paid I start the styling and posting of the product. If both parties are happy with how the promoting/styling went, contracts can be renewed and signed for a further 3-6 months So basically you get paid to get sent cool stuff?

It always feels like Christmas. The postman and I are on a first name basis. Apart from this crazy world of Instagram, what else has Winter given you?

Life is a little chaotic and all over the place when walking into motherhood, but man it’s this feeling that can’t be explained. I truly believe babies teach us just as much as we teach them.
