No need to bust budget on city stay
SYDNEY is one of my favourite destinations to visit for a close and affordable holiday.
What I love is the fact that you can fly from the Sunshine Coast direct to Sydney.
Make sure you get out and really explore all that this beautiful city has to offer. It is always a must if you are a first time visitor to Sydney, to visit the main attractions such as the Opera House, Harbour Bridge or Sydney Tower.
However, if you have the time make sure you also, take a ferry from Circular Quay to Manly, if you enjoy beautiful scenery and walking, take a walk along the Coastal Walk from Coogee to Bondi.
There are so many wonderful spots along the walk you will discover such as Gordon’s Bay and Clovelly.
Sydney is definitely a foodie’s dream with so many wonderful restaurants. It really is a question of what outlook or view you are after to accompany your meal.
One of my favourite settings is the Coogee Pavilion. Located along the coast, it always has a sensational atmosphere and you can either enjoy the views of Coogee beach from the roof top balcony, or alternatively a lovely meal inside.
There are wonderful coffee shops in Coogee, perfect to visit after you have walked the coastal walk.
I would highly recommend visiting the Botanical Gardens. There are so many beautiful spots to have a picnic, whether it is by the water or under a beautiful tree in the park.
My favourite spot is Bennelong Lawn. You can enjoy your picnic whilst having front row views to both the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
Absolutely magical, especially at sunset.
The great part about all of this is when it comes to booking your Australian adventure, you have peace of mind knowing you have the best price possible with purchasing our Captain’s Essential Package for only $19*at the time of booking.
