Make most of history and mystery

Life & Style Weekend - - TRAVEL - WITH Carolyn Thompson, Flight Centre Sunshine Plaza

BRITAIN is one of my favourite places to visit. From London city and its many attractions to picturesque Wales and the Scottish highlands, Britain has so much to offer. must definitelyexplore. Londonfor The any neededcity Londonfirstis an timea few absoluteEye, visitor.days to I London Bridge, Buckingham Place and the changing of the guards to strolling through Hyde Park with the squirrels were just a few of my highlights. If you love musicals, then London is definitely the place to see one. I found the best way to explore the countryside was by taking a road trip, to see all that this beautiful region has to offer. From quaint country towns to seeing the beautiful scenery, it’s a holiday like no other. I really enjoyed visiting Statford-upon-Avon, which is home to possibly the most famous writer in the English language, Shakespeare. If you happen to be in the medieval market town on a Sunday, there is a quaint market where you can enjoy live music and local goods by the River Avon. Edinburgh far exceeded all my expectations. The beautiful city allows you to experience the medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town. I loved exploring the beautiful cobblestone streets and took a trek up Arthur’s seat. Although it took a bit of panting to get to the top, the views are just spectacular and thoroughly worth it. Speaking of wonderful views, the Scottish highlands are exquisite. If you are lucky enough you may even see Nessie, the Loch Ness monster. Be sure that when travelling through this region, though, that you pack some winter woollies. The region can be quite cold, even in summer. excellently-pricedWith daily flights flights,to Britainit is fromthe perfect Brisbane time coupledto start with planning your British adventure.
