Outback adventure, 4WD action, devious activists and great Aussie humour come to Majestic Cinemas with the launch of the new Australian feature film Rough Stuff.
This action-packed story follows an activist group making a dubious deal with treasure-seeking Rovers and their modified four-wheel-drives for an expedition through treacherous Australian terrain. The joint quest is for a legendary lost stash of stolen gold that the activists claim to want to protect from a multinational mining company, and that the Rovers want for themselves. Tensions rise and ulterior motives are revealed with exciting off-road chases, daring rescues and amazing discoveries.
For his debut feature, writer-director Jonathan Adams assembles a fresh-faced cast of talented young actors including Gareth Rickards, Vincent Andriano, Sam Glissan, Jamie Kristian, Hayley Sullivan, Katie Garfield and Adam Horner, plus a cameo role by Aussie veteran Ernie Dingo. Tickets can be purchased online at www.majesticcinemas.com.au from March 13 or at the theatre.
