Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2

THE Guardians must fight to keep their new-found family together as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage in this jam-packed sequel. While it doesn’t feel as fresh as the first film, Vol 2 is a dazzling and irreverent expansion of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. Stars: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista. Rating: M. The Zookeeper’s Wife

THIS drama, based on real-life events, tells the account of keepers of the Warsaw Zoo, Antonina and Jan Zabinski, who helped save hundreds of people and animals during the Nazi invasion. While this is a well-crafted film, there’s the feeling it could have done a bit more with its incredible story. Stars: Jessica Chastain, Daniel Brühl, Johan Heldenbergh. Rating: M In cinemas: Thursday.

Rules Don’t Apply

WARREN Beatty stars in and directs this rambling film about an aspiring actress and her determined driver, who work for the eccentric billionaire Howard Hughes. This is no conventional love story, with Beatty portraying

Hughes as a tortured, overbearing figure. Stars: Lilly

Collins, Alden Ehrenreich, Matthew Broderick. Rating:
