Yowies, UFOs, entities and big rates bills

Life & Style Weekend - - READ -

TIM the Yowie Man’s tales of strange places in the last edition of Weekend had many readers talking on social media.

Tim, 44 (pictured), has made a career out of investigating strange happenings in Australia and overseas after his own experience with what he claimed was a yowie in a forest near the Snowy Mountains.

Some readers, like Jessica Carman, agreed that some strange things really are out there.

“I had entities in my house,” she wrote.

“I had a paranormal group come to my house from Rockhampton and cleanse myself and the house.

“It was horrible. I live on my own and it would switch the lights off, unplug my charger from the wall and lock doors.

“These were just some of the things that would happen. Absolutely terrifying.

“The paranormal group helped to an extent but it was only a few nights ago that I saw a black figure, with my own two eyes, walking out of my bathroom. “Whatever it is, it is still here and does not want to leave.” And Helene Jones wrote she had seen extra terrestrial life in northern Queensland.

“Tully, 1966, witnessed two ufos. Saw the shapes, and coloured lights – no drink, no drugs,” she wrote on Facebook.

Other readers had more tongue-in-cheek answers on Facebook to strange occurrences in their neck of the woods: Matty Moo: Yeh my rates bill has an unexplainable rise.

Luke Griffin: I saw someone use an indicator once!

Kev Palmer: Bad drivers .... bad drivers everywhere.

Jamie Richter: A yeti strolls past my house most afternoons. Shaylee Chapman: Ummmm, some airport staff ??????

And Trent Bowen wrote that he did not believe the story.

“No one has ever found a trace of a Yowie, Yeti, Bigfoot or Abominable Snowman anywhere ever,” he wrote.
