NAMBOUR COM­MU­NITY CAR­OLS

To­day Time: 3-8pm Where: Nambour Show­grounds Cost: Free The Nambour Com­mu­nity Car­ols are promis­ing a big­ger event than ever. Kids en­ter­tain­ment on of­fer in­cludes rides, an­i­mal farm, face paint­ing, jump­ing cas­tles. The twi­light mar­kets open at 3pm, with more than 40 stalls, be­fore the car­ols be­gin at 6pm. The night will end with the 8pm fire­works fi­nale.

EUMUNDI CHRIST­MAS CAR­OLS

To­day Time: 6.30pm-9pm Where: Eumundi Am­phithe­atre Cost: Free En­joy car­ols on a com­mu­nity night out with per­form­ers in­clud­ing the Eumundi School Choir and Eumundi Cal­is­then­ics. Bring the kids down to meet Santa, with more spe­cial vis­its from Poppy and Branch from the Trolls movie, Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Frosty the Snow­man.

MOOLOOLABA CHRIST­MAS LIGHTS CANAL CRUISE

Now till De­cem­ber 30 Where: Set off from The Wharf Mooloolaba Cost: From $10 per per­son Go Christ­mas light see­ing in style with one of Mooloolaba's canal cruise op­er­a­tors. Cruises can be booked through Mooloolaba Canal Cruise, Sun­shine Coast Afloat or Whale One.

De­cem­ber 12 Time: 5pm-10pm Where: Peregian Beach Park, King­fisher Drive, Peregian Beach Cost: Free Come down for the 53rd an­nual Peregian Beach Christ­mas Car­ols, with mu­sic, car­ols, en­ter­tain­ment, food and a visit from Santa.

CHRIST­MAS MOVIE IN THE STA­DIUM

De­cem­ber 13 Time: 5-9pm Where: Sun­shine Coast Sta­dium Cost: Kids $9.50, Adults $14, fam­ily deals avail­able. The big screen just got big­ger with a su­per-sized Open Air Movie Night screen­ing the fam­ily-favourite movie, Elf. Join in the fes­tive spirit with some Christ­mas Blues from 5pm on­wards, plus Santa will make an ap­pear­ance. Once the sun goes down, kick back, munch on some organic pop­corn and get into the Christ­mas spirit watch­ing Elf un­der the stars.

De­cem­ber 13 Time: 4.30-7.30pm Where: Peregian Springs Rec Club Footy Fields Cost: Free Christ­mas car­ols, mar­ket food, kid’s en­ter­tain­ment, live bands and a visit from Santa will pro­vide a great event for the whole fam­ily.

MOOLOOLABA CHRIST­MAS BOAT PA­RADE

De­cem­ber 16 Time: 6pm (pa­rade starts at 6.30pm) Where: Pa­rade be­gins at The Wharf Mooloolaba, head­ing out along the main canals Cost: Free to watch, en­try to Best Dressed House and Best Dressed Boat com­pe­ti­tions $25 (do­nated to char­ity) Watch as the pa­rade of boats, dressed up in their Christ­mas-themed best, make their way through the Mooloolaba canals. The Wharf Mooloolaba will serve as the hub of the event, and will be a great place to watch the pa­rade, and en­joy the lo­cal en­ter­tain­ment. The pa­rade starts at 6.30pm in front of The Wharf Mooloolaba be­fore head­ing out along the main canals of Mooloolaba, Kawana and Bud­dina be­fore fin­ish­ing back in front of The Wharf. GLASSHOUSE COM­MU­NITY CAR­OLS

De­cem­ber 16 Time: 4:30-8pm Where: Turner Park, Beer­wah Cost: Free The com­mu­nity will gather for a fam­ily-night out with kids ac­tiv­i­ties, com­mu­nity dance groups, pre-show en­ter­tain­ment, and a night full of sing-a-long car­ols with lo­cal mu­si­cians and a choir. The fire­works show starts at 8.15pm.

KAWANA CAR­OLS BY THE BEACH

De­cem­ber 17 Time: 3-7:30pm Where: Kawana Surf Life­sav­ing Club, 99 Pa­cific Boule­vard, Bud­dina Cost: Free Kawana Car­ols by the Beach prom­ises a fam­ily af­ter­noon and evening over­flow­ing with Christ­mas spirit, hosted by Todd and Sami from MixFM. There will be rides, face paint­ing, food stalls, ac­ro­batic troupe, snow globe and of course Santa wouldn't miss it. This year's en­ter­tain­ment fea­tures Ma­son Hope (who per­formed at the Caloun­dra Mu­sic fes­ti­val), Tay­lor Moss, Sarah Woods and more ex­traor­di­nary lo­cal tal­ent.
