The beach is pa­trolled 365 days a year and is also a pop­u­lar surf spot. En­joy the open beach or more se­cluded bay op­tions to the south. Ameni­ties in­clude bar­be­cues, pic­nic ta­bles, shel­tered ar­eas and toi­lets. Tickle Park skate bowl and play­ground are a big tick for the kids plus there’s a Surf Life Sav­ing Club for af­ter­swim drinks. Dogs are per­mit­ted on leash or there’s an off-leash doggy heaven close by at Stumers Creek.

A pop­u­lar spot for nearby restau­rants and cafes, the beach boasts bar­be­cues, pic­nic ta­bles, restau­rants and sev­eral play­grounds (in­clud­ing child friendly water foun­tains for cool­ing off). Life­guards pa­trol the beach 365 days a year.

Ac­cess this swim­ming hole via the board­walk en­trance off Lind­say Road or via Quorn Close. It’s an easy walk­ing cir­cuit which will take you un­der­neath tow­er­ing palm trees and over bab­bling creek cross­ings to the Insta-fa­mous wa­ter­fall and swim­ming hole. There’s also a pic­nic-per­fect me­mo­rial gar­den.

One of the Coast’s most loved swim­ming holes, Kon­dalilla Falls just out­side Maple­ton has some­thing for ev­ery­one. The Falls cir­cuit will take 2-3 hours to com­plete and in­cludes over 100 steps so re­lax, take your time and en­joy the scenery. Don’t feel like swim­ming? View­ing the cas­cad­ing falls is ex­cuse enough for a trip. Take Flax­ton Drive onto Kon­dalilla Falls Road and fol­low for about 2km to the car park.

Off Obi Lane South, Gar­dener’s Falls is an easy 10 minute walk from the carpark, tak­ing you along­side the creek to a wa­ter­hole oa­sis. There’s also a rope swing for the brave. Turn off the Maleny-Lands­bor­ough Road about 3km from Maleny town cen­tre. Fol­low Obi Lane South for 1.5km.
