WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL
December 27 – January 1
Where: Woodfordia, Woodford.
Escape from ‘reality’ and immerse yourself in cultures from near and far. The Woodford Folk Festival is a place where artists inspire, community spirit engulfs and life memories are made.
This year, the Festival features concerts, dances, street theatre, writers’ panels, a film festival, an entire children’s festival, an environmental program featuring talks, debates and films, art and craft workshops, circus performances and workshops, parades and a spectacular fire event.

Where: Mooloolaba Esplanade.
Welcome 2018 in style at Mooloolaba Beach. This family-friendly event will transform the beach into party central.
There will be roving street entertainment, children’s activities, inflatable rides and delicious food will be available from local vendors, restaurants and cafes on the Esplanade.
Entertainment kicks off at 4.30pm with a range of live music including Andrea Kirwin Trio and The Floating Bridges. The fireworks display will light up the sky at 8.30pm and the second at midnight to celebrate the new year.
NB: Chemical glow sticks and glow products will not be allowed into the event. Battery-operated LED products are permitted.
NYE NAUTI PARTY
Time: From 6pm.
Where: Noosa Boathouse, 194 Gympie Tce, Noosaville.
Ahoy party pirates, there’s yachts of fun to be had at this nautical-themed NYE cocktail party at the Noosa Boathouse. Just $49 gets you three hours of canapes (6–9pm), live music to grove your way into 2018 plus fireworks will be lighting the sky at 9pm.
