A LITTLE HISTORY MIXED WITH ART
YANDINA HISTORIC HOUSE PAINTS A PICTURE OF OUR REGION WITH ROOMS OF ARTWORKS AND POTTERY
Visitors will be thoroughly surprised by the diversity of art on offer at Yandina Historic House. Wander through the rooms and be privy to a collection of high-quality paintings and pottery created by Sunshine Coast artists. This gallery offers a variety of painting styles and genres including local landscapes, seascapes and animal life. Mixed in among the paintings is a unique range of pottery – all extremely well made by local potters and reasonably priced. Yandina Historic House has a quaint craft shop which is jam-packed with locally made children’s clothing, scarves and bric-a-brac. An interesting history room has photos and artefacts from the local area making it easy to discover home-grown information and see many historical photos as well. The atmosphere is relaxed and visitors will be able to sit and engage with art while enjoying a Devonshire tea and scone. Well worth a visit.
