NEWLYWEDS MINGLE WITH THE LOCALS

MARSUPIALS JOIN THE TWIN WATERS CELEBRATIONS

Life & Style Weekend - - WEDDING BELLS -

Welcome to the neighbourhood, Mr and Mrs Brooker. Bride Charmaine Woodison and her groom Michael Brooker are both originally from Slough in London but they couldn’t have felt more at home than on their wedding day on the Sunshine Coast on September 7. The couple has just bought a home in Twin Waters and neighbours were among their 36 guests at the nuptials in Montville Chapel. Their reception followed at Twin Waters Golf Club. They may have settled into life here but Charmaine and Mick still can't get over the novelty of kangaroos and wallabies on the golf club grounds and happily shared pictures of the marsupial locals on the day. The two met in their younger years but their friendship and love developed when they reconnected after Charmaine came to Sydney to work. The vintage car they hired for their perfect spring wedding was an unexpected nod to their United Kingdom heritage, as it also came from Slough. They chose a beautifully romantic pastel-coloured palette for their big day, which was styled by Cloud Nine Weddings.
