GOLD STAR TREATMENT AT HOTELS
No expense will be spared for Australian TV’S stars heading to the Logie Awards on the Gold Coast, as details of what they’ll be treated to in their rooms was revealed.
Stars who are going to the Logies — as nominees, presenters or guests — will be staying at The Star Grand Hotel and The Darling.
Their rooms will be able to get complimentary Moet champagne on arrival during their stay, as well as native bee honey chocolates.
The Darling has 34 Penthouse suites that stars will be checking into on arrival.
A northern Penthouse Suite or northern Penthouse Spa Suite (with a deluxe spa) and a southern Penthouse Suite which offers guests the choice of a billiard room, exercise room or media room. These rooms start at $5000 a night. There are also six Ocean Terraces suites at The Star Grand which are all being occupied by celebrities. The Ocean Terrace Suite at The Star Grand starts from $1500 a night.
Sources confirmed to News Corp Australia all 596 hotel rooms at The Star Grand Hotel were booked and nearly all of the 56 suites at The Darling were booked.
Stars at the hotels will also be treated to goodie bags that The Star Gold Coast have curated as part of their “surprise and delight” series.
For guests staying at The Star and those attending a Logies Viewing Party on-site, they will also be offered five minute massages, access to hair and makeup stations and a surprise meet and greets with The Star Logies Ambassadors. – Shoba Rao
