MADE FOR COASTAL LIVING USING SUSTAINABLY SOURCED MATERIALS

Life & Style Weekend - - CONTENTS - WORDS: SARAH DIONYSIUS

Created on the Sunshine Coast, Rafia the Label encompasses everything about the coastal, laidback lifestyle. The vision was to create wearable classic pieces for the young modern day woman.

The garments are designed here on the Coast and made using ethical materials such as rayon and linen.

The labels aims to be sustainable with only a small handful of each design produced and all of their offcuts are used to make smaller garments or accessories.

Here are some of the labels’ latest looks.

1 The Freda top is made from 100 per cent linen and is available in yellow and white.

2 The boho Mika skirt set has a cute little shirred top teamed with a flowing maxi skirt with elastic waist and tie detail.

3 The Maria top is made from a beige crinkle cotton and has elastic across the top and tie shoulders.

4 The Zara shorts are available in crisp white or beige. They have a front zip opening with elastic back and raw hem.

5 The Sienna dress is made from cool, crinkle cotton.

6 The Twiggy pinafore was designed to be worn by itself or with something underneath. Team it with a vintage blouse for a great winter look.
