WHAT Is THE VITALITY NETBALL world CUP?
The Vitality Netball World Cup is held every four years, showcasing the top tier international talent in the sport. This year the competition is being held in Liverpool in the United Kingdom.
Five Lightning players and head coach Noeline Taurua are participating in the VNWC19 – which is a ten-day tournament that tipped off yesterday.
Sixteen teams are competing, from four pools in stage one in a round robin format. The teams competing are Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Uganda, England, Jamaica, Samoa, Fiji, Trinidad and Tobago, Northern Ireland, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Malawi, Barbados, Singapore and Scotland.

Channel Nine have the broadcasting rights in Australia with all games available to stream live or catch up on at 9 Now.
All Australian Samsung Diamonds games will also be shown live
(or close to – depending on scheduling) on Channel Nine’s Wide World of Sport.
The first Diamonds game will be shown on Friday 12 July from 8pm against Northern Ireland.
