Steam now enables people to tell developers that they want their game on Linux.

-

Steam, the popular DRM-filled game storefront, has plenty of faults, but it’s certainly helped to make more games available on Linux. It has now made a change to the developer side of the software that means game creators can see what platforms people want their game to come to, when they add it to their wishlist. While this won’t bring a huge change for most users, it could mean that if developers see enough interest in people asking the game to come to Linux, they could be more likely to port it.
