This lightweight distro that focuses on four key areas (Maintenance, Multimedia, Mini-server and Mystery – aka gaming) has released version 30.0, which provides Opengl support with no need to install additional drivers. It will now also disable Pulseaudio when applicable – which will improve the performance of older games like DOOM – and new multimedia apps have been included. LINUX LITE 4.6
The latest version of this beginner-friendly distro has been released, and is based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. It brings a number of changes, including a new Theme selector, which makes it easy to switch between Light and Dark themes. There are also new informational guides for the Keyboard and Num Lock, and new tutorials are also added, making it even easier for beginners to get started. Blackarch LINUX 2019.09.01
Aimed at penetration testers and security researchers, Blackarch Linux is renowned for coming with thousands of specialist tools pre-installed. The latest version swells those numbers further with over 150 new tools, as well as updating the Linux kernel to 5.2.9. The blackarch-installer has been updated to v1.1.19, introduced a new Blackarch theme for windows managers and included a number of improvements and bug fixes. easyos 2.1
Now available to download this release uses packages from Debian 10 ‘Buster’. In case you’ve not heard of Easyos before, it’s a distro that take various features and formats from Puppy Linux, while also using custom container technology known as Easy Containers, which can run apps and entire desktop environments.
