NumptyPhysics

NumptyPhysics is the open source implementation of the famous Crayon Physics game. This kind of puzzle game invites you to harness gravity and draw objects that instantly behave like they would in real life. There are many such gravity simulators for Android too, but this time we’ll be playing a desktop game with no limitations and entirely ad-free.
NumptyPhysics is an amazing, mature, and welldrawn game with lots of bright and colourful SVG graphics that makes use of the powerful Box2D engine. This is responsible for simulating a solid number of physical effects, such as gravity, friction, collision, restitution, stacking and many more. The game itself offers over 100 levels containing different puzzles with the same plot of making the red ball and the yellow star meet. Playing the game implies drawing different objects with a stylus in such a way that they fall over a ball and make it roll or slide towards the star. That can be quite a challenge, especially once you pass the first bunch of easy levels aimed at novice players and face something more difficult to solve.
The game never wants you to lose and always lets you skip levels back and forth, restart them and even modify them, all without penalties. If you run into a brick wall (metaphorically speaking), use the Tools menu to alter the current level features and change it to your liking. But we recommend that you avoid outright cheating and try your best to complete each level the way it was meant to be played. Draw balls, levers, blocks and pulleys of any size and in any combinations required to accomplish the goal. Many of the more complex levels in NumptyPhysics are real brain teasers! Take your time, wait for a while to make things settle down and think twice before lumbering the level with your lines and blocks.
We found NumptyPhysics to be a fun time killer and a great challenging game for both kids and adults. The graphics are pleasing, and the number of levels is more than enough for a long session’s play.
