Tree Kangaroos

Little Angel - - CONTENTS -

Up, up & away

Unlike regular roos, tree kangaroos are pretty slow and clumsy on the ground. They’re specially designed to live in the treetops where they hop, leap and slide with amazing agility thanks to their strong legs and sharp claws.

Menu must-haves Tree kangaroos eat flowers, leaves, fruit, bark and tree sap. Sometimes they also eat eggs. These marvellous mammals are found in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.

Baby love When tree kangaroos are born they spend about nine months inside their mother’s pouch. Females usually have one joey each year.

Please help Tree kangaroos are endangered. Their trees are often cut down, leaving them homeless. So sad!
