Huskysledding in Sweden

While staying at the Icehotel, 90 miles north of the Arctic Circle, my wife Eleanor and I were lucky enough to experience a husky sled across the frozen Torne River. After pausing for traditional fika (coffee and a cinnamon bun) along the way, we met and bonded with the dogs. The two pictured are sisters and are apparently inseparable. They were so content in each other’s company, I couldn’t resist capturing them cuddling in the bitterly cold sunshine.
