Fuji Television building by Kenzo Tange Associates

Lonely Planet (UK) - - Wild Patagonia -

Gazing at this improbable building from the Yurikamome monorail is a fabulously futuristic experience. Hogging the limelight in the waterfront Minato district, it’s the HQ of Fuji TV. And it expresses the company’s innovative nature in no uncertain terms, with a lattice of ‘sky corridors’ holding a 32m titanium silver ball in place. Climb to that ball and you’ll see fantastic views of Tokyo to one side and Mount Fuji to the other. Bizarre and beautiful. fujitv.co.jp
