WORTH A TRIP
Due south of Brno, just shy of the Austrian border, is Mikulov, a beautiful town in Czech wine country, once home to the region’s biggest Jewish population. Today, not a single Jewish family lives here – but it has become a place of pilgrimage for young people. In the old Jewish quarter, Hotel Tanzberg celebrates its heritage.
