To make a sturdy template for cutting out, glue a copy of each template to a piece of card. Then cut out using a craft knife. Start by cutting all the straight edges using a metal ruler.

Cut the curves starting from the outer edge, making two cuts that meet in the centre, to create a smooth curve. When cutting your fabric, you may find it easier to mark using a fabric pen and the template, and then cut out using a small rotary cutter.
