OFF THE HOOK

Who else here is a multi-crafter?! Inspired by her Aurora quilt pattern, Jemima Flendt of Tied With a Ribbon decided to give it a crochet twist… introducting the Merryweather blanket! As with the original Aurora quilt (see opposite), Half-square Triangles are the star of this design, not pieced together in fabric, but crocheted in colourful cosy 4ply yarns. You’ll need a bit of crochet know-how for the blanket, which measures 52in square when finished. It can be made in so many colour combinations, from rainbow or ombré, to a more scrappy or two toned effect, and is available as a PDF download from tiedwitharibbon.com
