Fabrics A–M are Kona Cotton Solids by Robert Kaufman. Fabric N (Aqua) is Essex Linen.

PIECING THE HOUSE BLOCKS

1 Follow steps 1–7 of the FPP tutorial from issue 99 to piece one copy each of the House Templates A – C on p88, referring to the Block 1 Layout Diagram.

2 Following steps 8–10 of the tutorial, join Templates A and B, aligning the sides of the house. Then join Template C to the bottom of the house, again aligning the sides of the house.

3 Press the block. Remove any remaining paper from the back of the block and trim to 10 in square.

4 Repeat steps 1–3 for the second block, referring to Block 2 Layout Diagram.
