1Use the Triangle template to trace twenty triangles onto your cardstock and cut them all out. Alternatively you can use premade EPP papers instead.
2Baste four of your triangles to each of the five fabrics, following the process from steps 2–3 of the Glue Basting instructions. Do not snip the dog ears.

3Place two prepared triangles right sides together, and sew together along one edge using a whip stitch in neutral or matching thread, holding any dog ears out of the way as you work.
4To form the top of the bauble, continue adding the triangles until you’ve joined five, referring to Fig N for colour order. Repeat to make the bottom of the bauble (colours in Fig O).
5Join the remaining ten triangles into a line, referring to their placement in Fig P. Join the bauble top and bottom to the ends as demonstrated in Fig Q.
6Sew the bauble into the final shape, using ladder stitch to sew the remaining sides from the right side. Begin by sewing the centre strip of triangles around the bottom unit, knotting the thread at each corner to make sure it is secure (Figs R–S).
7Repeat the process from step 6 to sew the strip around the edges of the top unit, with the bauble now beginning to form the ball shape. Sew the final gap to the bottom unit (Fig T).
8Fold your ribbon in half and securely knot the ends. Place the knot of the ribbon inside the final gap at the top of the bauble (Fig U). Finish sewing the top gap, catching the ribbon in the process to create the hanging loop.
