■ Seam allowances are ¼in, unless otherwise noted.
■ Press seams to one side, unless otherwise instructed.
■ Press fabrics well before cutting.

■ WST = wrong sides together.
■ WOF = width of fabric.
■ For FPP, set your stitch length to 1.5.

TOP TIPS
■ Colouring in your template sections with coloured pencils will make the process easier.
■ Use a water soluble fabric glue pen for Section 1, single sections and whenever you find it necessary to secure the fabric.
■ Gaby recommends using FPP paper: it can be printed on, is very transparent, holds up well to the heat of an iron and is easier to tear than regular paper.
