Jargon buster

The Secure Enclave can be used by nonApple apps, but it only stores 256-bit private keys created within it, enabling asymmetric cryptography. This relies on maths problems to decrypt data encrypted with a certain private key using its associated public key, and makes it impossibly hard to derive the private key.
