bring bac k PDFS

-

As a long-time overseas subscriber to the best damn Mac mag in the world, I still miss the now defunct ability to save articles as PDFs for future reference. Imagine my delight when I received an offer to combine my print subscription with a digital one! But the digital versions don’t permit printing or saving as a PDF. Your content is too valuable to discard. Howard Oakley’s advice should be saved and easily available as required.

In this digital age, it’s irrational to have to save each print edition in one’s library and then to engage in old-fashioned search and retrieve methods of finding what one is looking for. I am prepared to pay for the ability to digitally save articles from your fantastic magazine.

Are you willing to make this possible? by John M Bonn

Jo sa ys… Coincidentally, just ahead of receiving your email we were talking with management at our publishing company about the possibility of something like this. The editorial team agrees it would be a good thing to offer as a subscriber benefit, but it depends on management’s agreement, as it would require some back-end work on our subscriptions website. We can’t promise it’ll happen, but want to acknowledge we’ve heard your request and will pass it upwards.
