Content and privacy restrictions
Other safeguards you can set up
Restricting access to features and media was already possible in older versions of iOS. As of iOS 12, it’s relocated to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. Turn on the feature, then explore the ways you can limit yourself from distractions. The same settings are available when you tap a child’s name in Settings > Screen Time. The first group (starting iTunes & App Store Purchases) and last group (Allow Changes) are very important; you might choose to hide Mail and Safari altogether, say, to protect your child when they are unsupervised.
