Not all iPad Pros are born equal
Good news if you recently bought a 1TB iPad Pro: it comes with 6GB of memory. That’s 2GB more than the other capacities of the newest Pro, and may help to improve its performance in certain tasks.
The fact that the 1TB model has more memory has been known since shortly after the new iPad Pro was released, as apps like Geekbench are able to detect it in their tests.
While 6GB is a new peak for memory in iOS devices, it should be noted that there are not many real-world cases where you’ll actually need so much. Still, if you think you will, you may decide it’s worth going for the larger version.
