How to Use Continuity Camera

1 Start on your Mac

≈- click on your document or open the File menu, then choose Import from iPhone or iPad > Take Photo. This opens the camera on your iOS device. This only works in certain apps; check which ones are supported here: bitly.com/ccamapps.

2 Take a picture

On your iOS device, take a picture of whatever it is you want to appear in your document or app, then tap Use Photo. The picture that you just took will now appear on your Mac, in the location where you ≈- clicked.

3 Scan documents

In Finder, ≈- click an empty space in a folder and choose Import… > Scan Document. Point iOS’s camera at a page and take a snap, adjust the corners, then tap Keep Scan. You can add more pages, or tap Save to send to your Mac as a PDF.
