Apple in 2019

2018 gave us redesigned hardware and big software changes. The year ahead looks even more interesting…

Apple doesn’t comment on future products, except when it does. We know a brand-new Mac Pro is on the way in 2019, with the future-proof flexibility

the current model lacks. We just don’t know exactly when, or what it’ll look like, or what will be inside.

One date we can be fairly sure of is the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC), which for the past decade has taken place at the start of June. We may get a peek at the Pro then, and we’ll certainly see more of Marzipan, the framework that’ll help developers port more iOS apps to the Mac. Another safe bet is shiny new iPhones in autumn.

Beyond that, it’s tricky to know exactly when new kit will drop, and only Apple knows what wonders lurk in its labs. But that’s not going to stop us making educated guesses! Of course, when new kit is released, be sure to check out our reviews.
