The next AirPods will have a case that charges on a wireless mat, will probably be more water-resistant (but not waterproof) and may support hands-free ‘Hey Siri’.

Noise cancellation is also speculated. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects them soon; Bloomberg’s sources say later, with a price rise. Don’t bet against two versions.
