The demise of downloading…

Now nobody under 30 buys music except on vinyl, Apple is stuck between past and

future. Downloading is definitely on the way out. RIP the iTunes Store? Apple Music, based on Jimmy Iovine and Dr Dre’s Beats Music, should supersede it, but it struggles to wean Generation Z away from Spotify. For iTunes users unwilling to convert, Apple could at least tone down its switch pitch, and redirect shared links to content to iTunes for non-subscribers.
