Reminders, Shortcuts, and more

The built-in apps in iOS 13 are full of improvemen­ts and new features. Reminders has been overhauled, we’ve already shown you some great new additions in Mail, and Safari has been greatly improved, too. Shortcuts is now installed by default and much more powerful. And both Siri and Voice Control are much improved.

1 Lists of Reminders

To create a new List, open Reminders, tap Add List and give it a name. Choose a colour and an icon. Tap Done. To create a group of lists, tap and hold on a list and drag it over another to be included in the group. Give the group a name.

2 Remind when messaging

Locate the reminder you want to be flagged when messaging and tap the ‘i’ to the right of it. Look near the bottom of the screen for ‘Remind me when

Open Safari and navigate to a web page. Use the buttons for your device that take a screenshot. When the preview appears, tap it, then tap Full Page. You can use the tools at the bottom to annotate it, or the slider at the right to preview. Tap Done when you’re ready.

4 Text size on a web page

In Safari, on any web page, tap on ‘AA’ in the address bar. Use. The ‘+’ and ‘–‘ to increase and decrease the size of text. You can also show reader view from here, as well as request the desktop site, hide the toolbar, and go to Website Settings.

Navigate to a web page with a file you want to download and tap on it. Tap Download. When it’s done, tap the
