At just 160g, Sony’s speaker is light to carry, and there’s a colour-coordinated loop to attach the speaker to your bag. With a 3W output, the deep bass gives a solid sound, but we found that it does tend to overpower the treble at times. The speaker is only water resistant to IPX5 so, while it can withstand a few splashes, it won’t survive if dunked in a pool. The six-hour playback time is okay but a bit limiting.
