How to Import photos using Image Capture >

1 Open Image Capture

Images imported into the Photos Library can be hard to access from third-party apps. To import into easierto-access folders, go to the Applications folder. Launch the Image Capture app.

2 Choose a device

In the Devices panel, click on the camera or memory card you want to access. Use the Import To menu to choose a destination (such as Pictures). Tick ‘Make sub folders per camera’.

3 Select and import

ß-click on the thumbnails you want to import, then click Import. Alternatively, click Import All. The selected photos will appear in the chosen destination in a folder named after your camera.
