Once you’ve organised your photos, you may want to share them with friends and family, or on your social media feed. There are many ways to share your images from within the Photos app.

≈+click on a photo’s thumbnail to summon a Sharing menu option that lets you export it via Mail, Messages, AirDrop etc. The iOS Photos app also has a sharing icon to tap on that enables you to send a photo to contacts in your iPhone or upload it to social media feeds via installed apps, such as Twitter or Instagram.

1 Shared album

In Photo’s Shared section, click ‘ + ’ next to Shared Albums. Label the album. Invite contacts to view its contents. Click Create. Doubleclick on the Album then click ‘Add photos and videos’ to populate it.

2 Stop sharing

If you want to stop viewing an album you’ve been invited to, ≈-click on the album and choose Unsubscribe. To stop sharing your album, ≈-click on it and choose Delete Shared Album.
