How to Adjust colours >

-

1 Remove colour casts

If a shot is too cold (blue) click the Edit button and toggle open the White Balance panel. Grab the eyedropper and click on an area that should be grey or white. Here a cold shot has been warmed up to create true colours.

2 Tackle tints

On an Auto White Balance setting a photo might suffer from a green or magenta tint. Go to the White Balance panel and set the drop-down menu to Temperature/Tint. Drag Tint left to reduce magenta. Drag right to rescue green tints.

3 Make it mono

The Black and White panel has a slider you can drag to lighten or darken objects in the scene according to their original colour. Here we’ve darkened the sky to make the buildings stand out. The Tone slider gives the shot more contrast.

4 Creative grading

To quickly give your shot a more creative look click the Filters icon at the top of the Edit window. Experiment by clicking on presets to adjust colour and tone instantly. This can change the mood of the shot or give it a retro analogue vibe.
