2 Start planning a tour

Tap Plan then Plan New Route. Choose your sport and fitness level, and whether you want the trip to be a round trip or one way. Tap ‘Choose starting point’; you can then choose Use Current Location.

3 Continue planning your tour

You’ll need to tap Plan New Route again to add a destination, then tap Choose Destination. Either tap on the search bar to search for a location, or tap Choose on Map then tap to set a location. Tap Set as Destination.

To add waypoints, tap the green bar above the map then tap Add Waypoint. Choose a type of waypoint, eg Food and Drink to see locations on the map. Tap one, then Include on Route. Tap Save to save the route.

5 Begin a saved tour

Tap Profile at the bottom of the screen, then Planned. Tap the tour you want to start. When you’re ready, tap Start Navigation for turn-by-turn instructions. From here, you can also share tours and invite others to join you.

6 Discover tours

Instead of creating your own tour, you can follow one someone else has added. Tap Discover then the sport type icon at the top. Search or scroll down the page to see tours and then tap one to find out more.

7 Record a tour

To add a tour as you walk, run or cycle, tap Record, then Record a Tour. To add a photograph, tap the Camera icon or to pause the recording, tap Controls then Pause Tracking. Tap Finish Tour when you’re done.

8 Share a tour

Once you’ve created a tour, you can make it public or share it with friends. Tap Profile, then tap the tour you want to share. Tap Share (bottom of screen) and choose whether to share it publicly or with people you choose.
