Back in MF363, we looked at Twelve South’s ParcSlope Stand. Now it’s the HoverBar Duo’s time to shine. Unlike the ParcSlope, which keeps your kit desk-bound, the HoverBar Duo enables you to slot an iPad or iPhone into its adjustable clip, then position it at virtually any angle and height (up to 15 inches) – ideal for FaceTime calls, cooking sessions, or holding your iPad steady when using Sidecar.
The ‘Duo’ part of the HoverBar Duo name comes from the fact that Twelve South includes both a weighted base (with a groove for your Apple Pencil or stylus) and a shelf clamp, with the latter able to accommodate surfaces up to 34mm (1.4in) thick, so your iPad can hang from a cupboard or shelf.
The HoverBar Duo keeps your iPad close to hand, without having it lolling on your desk when not in use. Use it, then push the arm out of the way. It’s flexible, space-saving and convenient.
The spring-loaded and padded arms of the clip can accommodate any size of iPhone or iPad, with a minimum width of 127mm (5in) and a maximum of 220mm (8.68in).
