Fortunately, there is a way to help. The free Too Good To Go app connects you to local shops that want to avoid squandering food they can’t sell by the day’s end. Everything sold on the app is discounted, often heavily so, and comes in ‘magic bags’ containing a mystery selection of tasty food. That allows you to grab a great bargain while diverting food from the rubbish heap and making the shops some extra cash to boot.
