HOW TO Create a smart mailbox

1 Name the smart mailbox

Smart mailboxes don’t move messages, they just filter them into a box to make them easier to find. Click the Mailbox menu and choose New Smart Mailbox. Type a name for the box that reflects what it will be used for.

2 Set the criteria

Messages are filtered according to one or more criteria you set. Choose an option from the first to drop-down menus, and if necessary, add text to the text box on the right. To add more criteria, click the ‘+’ on the far right.

3 Save smart mailbox

Once you’ve added all the criteria, select whether they all have to be met or if just any of them. Choose whether to include messages in Sent or in the Bin, and click OK. It will appear under Smart Mailboxes in the Mailbox List.
