HOW TO Create a Quick Note

1 Slide from the corner

To create a Quick Note, slide your Apple Pencil from the bottom-right corner towards the centre of the screen. As we’re in Safari, Quick Note has automatically grabbed the URL of the current page in the Quick Note window.

2 Add some words

Type anything you like in here. Quick Note also enables you to add keywords; just put a hashtag (#) before the word. That creates a searchable tag you can use to quickly find things later. You can also insert photos or add checkboxes.

3 Add a scribble

Tap the Markup icon (top-right side of the on-screen keyboard) to use Apple’s Markup tools – for example, by adding a drawing or scribbling a note. You can choose from different pens and adjust their size and colour.
