HOW TO Track your workouts with Watch

1 Pick your workout

Press the Digital Crown to go to your list of available apps and you’ll see the icon for Apple’s Workout app. Tap on it to open and you’ll now see a scrollable list of the different workout types that Apple has included in the app.

2 See some surprises

In addition to the more expected kinds of workouts, such as running and yoga, your Apple Watch workout app can also track more unusual ways to stay active such as social dancing, table tennis and even surfing.

3 Choose your goal

You’ll see the phrase ‘Open Goal’ next to the workouts. This means they’ll just track your activity; there isn’t a set goal that they’ll track. You can change that by tapping on the workout and then choosing the kind of goal you want.
