HOW TO Create a Quick Note on a Mac
1 Set up Quick Note
Launch System Preferences and choose Mission Control, then Hot Corners. Click the menu for the corner you want to assign it to. Choose Quick Note. You can also use the keyboard shortcut f+Q to launch Quick Note.
2 Choose how to open
By default, when you activate Quick Note, it opens the most recent note. To change that, go to Notes > Preferences and uncheck the box labelled ‘Resume last Quick Note’. That will open the most recently used Quick Note instead.
3 Create a note
In any app, activate Quick Note using its assigned corner or keyboard shortcut. Type your note, or add content as you would any note. To add a link to the app you’re working in, click the link button and choose Add Link.
