Custom Smart Folders

Clever folders that update automatically

Custom Smart Folders work in a similar way to Smart Mailboxes in Mail or Smart Folders in the Finder. The difference is that instead of being populated based on search criteria, they are populated based on tags. You can create a new Custom Smart Folder from the File menu or the New folder button in the Notes sidebar.

When you choose New Smart Folder, you need to give it a name and then choose the tags you want to include. Once you’ve done that, every current and future note to which one of those tags is added will appear in that folder.
