Eureka? Add a Quick Note

-

> Bright ideas can come in a flash, and by the time you’ve fumbled for an app to record them, they vanish as fast as they came. Capture your spur-of-the-moment eureka in a Quick Note. Use the ƒ+Q key combination, or set yourself a hot corner using the Screen Saver tab of the Desktop & Screen Saver pane to activate it. For the latter, you’ll need to click on the corner of note which appears to open it to full size. You can then commit your thoughts to the Notes app before something distracts you.

Although Notes files these separately, they’re still full-fledged notes, with all the features you might need. Add a link to a page on the web, a hastily drawn sketch, scanned document, or an image taken that moment on your iPhone if you wish. You can easily build yourself a checklist or insert a table too. Quick Notes also support the use of ‘#’ tags, and sharing with ‘@’ for the names of your colleagues. If you’ve not used the Notes app much before, the Monterey update may be the right reason to discover it.

?? ?? Even Quick Notes support rich media such as sketches, and you can apply markups as well.
