How to organise my menu bar to avoid the notch?

-

> If you have many custom additions to the menu bar on an M1 Mac with a ‘notch’, use a tool to help organise those items to free up space on the right of the bar. By far the best is Bartender ($15, about £13, macbartender. com), which puts your additions in its second menu bar below the main one.

App menus can readily run through the notch. Contact the app’s developer, as they’ll need to reorganise its menus for compatibility with these new MacBook Pros. As a workaround, SwitchRes from madrau.com can set your display to a resolution avoiding the notch.
