San Francisco-based AER has thought of everything with its Day Sling 2. It’s a big capacity pack, with three seperate zippered compartments, each featuring a soft lining, and smaller pockets to subdivide each section. There’s an internal lanyard for securing keys, and it even has a pocket for a small tablet. Crucially, there’s a big hidden back pocket for hiding valuables.

The bag is constructed from 1680D Cordura ballistic nylon, which is seriously tough, making the Day Sling 2 a great option if you plan on giving it some abuse. Zippers are YKK with chunky toggles and reassuring waterresistant seams. The wide strap makes the sling bag comfortable for hours on end, and there’s even a loop if you want to carry it with one
